The fall is here and the leaves are beginning to change colors. After some lingering "summery" days in the 80's, the temperatures are becoming more fall-like. Kind of sad to finally have to say goodbye to summer, but such is life.
Along with cooler temps comes the annual blast of red, orange, and yellow colors in our foliage. We hope to post some great images from the area this season. In particular, some shots of the Berkshires — the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail — and New Hampshire.

We've just added a bunch of new photos of a ride along both sides of the Connecticut River for your enjoyment. Some really beautiful images showing what it's like to bicycle in this area. The Pioneer Valley is so picturesque. This particular ride is from Amherst, MA, across the farmlands of Hadley and up through Sunderland to Montague via Meadow Rd. Crossing over an unexpected rail trail bridge to East Greenfield, we continued down the west bank along River Road to the bridge back to Sunderland, and eventually back to Amherst.
What a great ride! Beautiful scenery, over mostly quiet, uncrowded roads. A few hills coming down along the river on the way back, but we were treated to several miles of fresh pavement which made climbing those hills all the more fun.
Enjoy! BBTouring
