The fall is here and the leaves are beginning to change colors. After some lingering "summery" days in the 80's, the temperatures are becoming more fall-like. Kind of sad to finally have to say goodbye to summer, but such is life.

If you're looking for a great way to spend a day on a bike, try riding the Minuteman Rail Trail in eastern Massachusetts. Tidbits: Riding in Pepperell and Groton, MA, Yoga for Fitness

Well even though Linda and I were teased a bit a couple of weeks ago by warm weather here in the northeast, old man winter just keeps hanging on. But we made the best of it and had a great ride in the Pepperell and Groton, MA area on Saturday.

The Nashua River Rail Trail still had long stretches of snow cover and fallen trees across parts of it, so we made our own way along area roads. All in all a beautiful day and a great first day back on our bikes.

A little birdie named Paul told me that the Bike Expo in Seattle is happening this weekend! If you are into biking and are in the area, definitely check out this wicked-cool event.

Paul's tips: skip the exhibition hall and go to the various vendor booths first. He says the good stuff goes fast, so if you want great deals on biking gear, parts and especially clothing -- clothing has the biggest pricing margins to haggle on -- go there first.

Hey there cyclists!

Looks like the spring is finally coming up here in the Northeast. Warmer temps and lots of sun mean that better riding weather is here. And we've added more inns to our directory, too.

BBTouring Moving Into New Office

A Great Day Ahead,

Why? Because today we are moving a new office space!

Same town, and only about 1,000 yards from our old location. Very exciting! Still within walking distance to all of our favorite venues for food, coffee or tea, deserts, and everything else that the little town of Amherst, MA has to offer.

California and Connecticut Now In B & B Directory

AASHTO Submits American's Transportation Concerns To Obama

During the fall of 2008 and into the beginning of 2009, the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) gave Americans the chance to tell then President-elect Obama and the new congress what they need to do to improve transportation in the United States.
