Amherst, Massachusetts (PRWEB) February 20, 2009 — BBTouring.com, a new bicycle touring e-magazine, ride map and B&B directory announced today the phase I launch of their new Internet Web site for health conscious adults who enjoy cycling between Bed & Breakfast Inns.
Referred to as "credit-card touring" in the touring cycling world, this type of touring cycling makes it possible for riders to look forward to a nice hot shower and a comfortable bed at the end of their day's ride, while enjoying quality meals at area restaurants. Typically, a minimal amount of clothing is transported making for lighter loads while cycling between inns, especially without the need for heavy camping equipment. Other van-supported options are frequently available.
In addition to articles of interest to touring cyclists, BBTouring.com features a directory of bicycle-friendly Bed & Breakfast Inns, national and local bicycle trail information, including rail trails, and a social-networking component where registered members may share their favorite rides, follow each other's touring exploits, view photos, and recommend their favorite rides.
